Mohit Tanwar, a legal practitioner and a distinguished scholar, holds the prestigious Indraprastha Research Fellowship (IPRF) from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in law at the University School of Law Legal Studies, GGS IP University, specialising in Digital Payments inclusive of Blockchain Technology, Cryptocurrencies, NFTs, etc. and Corporate Governance. Mohit is also a Web3 and crypto legal consultant as he is having a meritorious command and expertise relating to global regulatory and legal compliances with respect to Web3 and allied subject matters. He is the author of, “The Crypto Mines : Diverse Insights with Legal Perspectives (Book)”, the book that has been written from a layman’s perspective, so that it can be used as a major resource for the Web3 and crypto enthusiasts, irrespective of one’s academic and professional background. The book holds the potential to serve as a major tool in the roadmap of Web3 and crypto ecosystem’s mass adoption as it directly deals with the subject matter of Web3 and crypto education. As an esteemed IPRF at USLLS, he possesses knowledge in diverse legal subjects, including Alternative Dispute Resolutions (ADR), Law of Tort, Code of Civil Procedure, Constitutional Law & Criminal Law. Mohit is the visionary Founder & Mentor of, “Top The Semester (TTS)”, a legal education startup that is dedicated to enlighten minds and foster success. TTS is having a bonafide vision to primarily revolutionise the traditional legal education landscape via its smart and effective study material approach and secondly, TTS vision is to introduce the subject matter of legal education to the world of Web3 by adopting to the PHYGITAL concept in near future. Mohit is active in the field of Web3, Crypto and Blockchain Technology since the year 2014 in both academic and practical fields. He has authored various publications relating to Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs), Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDC), etc. in various reputed journals. His impactful legal research projects as a field researcher with the Ministry of Law & Justice, Government of India and his role as the sole keynote speaker from Asia at the City DAO International Conference in the panel of, “Funding The Web3 Education”, showcase his legal academic & practical influence. Moreover, he is having several law related national and international publications as well as presentations in his name. Additionally, he has done several certifications alongside his academic journey from various reputed organisations such as World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO), The Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO), Indian Society of International Law (ISIL) and Technology Law Forum (TLF). Mohit actively shapes the discourse on the future of Legal Education, Web3 and Crypto.
