I am compassionate person who loves to help people reach goals. I discovered this about me early on in life. Growing up we used to play the game" Following the Leader and I was always the one in front. I would convince my friends to do as I do and if they did, they will be rewarded at the end of the game. I never let them down. When my family members and friends had problems, they came to me. they kept coming because I listen intently to what people have to say without judging, and this allowed me to improved my ability to discern what the individual is not saying. I maintain these same approaches today. Further, I have develop a healthy sense of curiosity. I ask lots of questions to get clarity and sometimes repeat what I’ve heard to ensure that I understand the situation. When working with individuals or groups, I create a safe environment where the clients can feel free to share as much or as little with me as they want.
