Description:This book provides guidelines and tools for early career researchers that want to work on a review together with a mentor. We will go through the practical aspects of reviewing a manuscript with a mentor or choosing a preprint or published paper to practice on, and getting feedback from your mentor. You can either work with your own mentor or find a volunteer community mentor within one of the Web of Science Academy's channels divided into 5 different major fields (Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, Medicine, Engineering, or Arts & Humanities). You submit a peer review report as your final assignment that needs to be approved by the administrators.
If you have very little experience with peer review then it is recommended that you read 'Introduction to peer review' and 'Reviewing in the Sciences' or 'Reviewing in the Humanities' books first.
